Drive clutch belt-to-sheave clearance is extremely important. It should be set at a maximum of .020" with a new belt. Too much belt-to-sheave clearance will cause poor clutch performance. This shim kit allows you to adjust your belt-to-sheave clearance for optimum clutch performance. Kit includes 3 - .020" shims and 2 - .030" shims.
