These helixes use a multi-angle design, the initial angle being very aggressive to get you off the line or up on the snow quickly with the second angle being mild to allow good upshift with phenomenal backshift. This creates a system that upshifts very well, but when you get in conditions where backshift is needed (deep powder or on a hill) it will backshift flawlessly with no reduction in peak rpm.
